FAQs

What is holistic coaching?

Holistic coaching supports the whole person — mind, body, and spirit — to help you move forward in life with greater peace, clarity, and confidence. It combines deep emotional insight, mindset tools, and gentle healing techniques to help you reconnect with your true self and create lasting change.

What is NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming)?

NLP is a powerful method that explores the connection between your thoughts, language, and behaviour. Through simple but effective techniques, NLP helps you reframe limiting beliefs, break old patterns, and create new, more empowering ways of thinking and responding.

What is TimeLine Therapy™?

TimeLine Therapy™ is a gentle technique that helps you let go of unresolved emotions from the past. By working with your unconscious mind, it allows you to release emotional baggage, clear limiting beliefs, and feel more free and at peace in the present.

What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy uses deep relaxation to help you access your subconscious mind. In this calm and focused state, you can explore the root of emotional blocks and create new, healthier patterns of thought and behaviour. You’re always in control — it’s a deeply safe and healing experience.

Who is holistic coaching for?

Holistic coaching is for anyone feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or seeking deeper meaning. Whether you're navigating a life change, struggling with anxiety or low confidence, or simply want to feel more balanced and aligned, this work can support you.

Do I need to have experience with therapy or coaching?

Not at all. Many of my clients are completely new to this type of support. You don’t need to have any prior experience — just a willingness to explore what’s coming up and a desire for change. I’ll guide you gently, step by step.

What happens during the free discovery call?

The free 30-minute discovery call helps me understand your situation and explain how coaching can support you. It’s also a chance for you to ask questions and decide if we’re the right fit before committing.

How many sessions will I need?

This depends on your goals and what you’d like to work through. Some people feel a shift after just a few sessions, while others benefit from ongoing support. After your free discovery call, I’ll recommend a personalised approach tailored to your needs.

What happens during a session?

Each session is tailored to you. We’ll talk through what’s currently on your mind and use a blend of techniques (like NLP, TimeLine Therapy™, or hypnotherapy) to help you shift limiting patterns and feel more in control. Sessions are always supportive, calm, and grounded.

What if I get emotional during a session?

That’s completely okay — and often part of the healing process. You’ll be held in a safe, non-judgemental space where anything you feel is welcome. We’ll move through things at your pace, with care and compassion.

Are sessions online or in-person?

Currently, all coaching sessions are held online, offering you comfort and flexibility from your own space. This also means I can work with clients from anywhere in the UK or beyond. In future, there may be limited in-person sessions offered locally — updates will be shared when available.

How long are the coaching sessions?

Sessions typically last a minimum of 60 minutes. Initial sessions are 90 minutes to allow a thorough exploration of your current situation and goals. Follow-up sessions can vary between 60-120 minutes depending on your needs.

Who can benefit from coaching?

Both adults and youths (ages 13-18) can benefit from coaching. Adults may seek support through life transitions, motivation, confidence, or emotional challenges. Youths can receive guidance navigating teenage years, identity, and decision-making pressures.

Is coaching confidential?

Yes. All sessions and communications are confidential and conducted in a safe, non-judgmental environment.

What makes your coaching approach different?

I combine a holistic approach with proven techniques like NLP, TimeLine Therapy, and Hypnotherapy to offer tailored support. Having worked within the NHS as a wellbeing coach, I adapt methods to suit diverse needs and provide ongoing encouragement beyond our sessions.

Can I work with a coach while I’m also seeing a therapist or counsellor?

To ensure your safety and the best possible support, I do not work with clients who are currently engaged in therapy, counselling, or psychiatric treatment. Coaching and therapy serve different purposes, and working with both simultaneously can sometimes create conflicting guidance or confusion.

If you are in therapy, it’s important to focus on that process first. Once your therapist advises it’s appropriate, I would be happy to support you with coaching to help you move forward on your personal growth journey.
